Making More Transplantable Organs Available

According to the World Health Organization, organ transplants are meeting less than 10% of the global need. In the United States, critical shortages of kidneys, hearts and livers for transplant result in huge numbers of needless deaths.

A full time research project to perfect organ preservation is proudly supported by The Stasis Foundation and Life Extension helps to fund this research so that more organs will be available for transplant. Cryobiologists at the 21st Century Medicine laboratories have made an important advance in kidney cryopreservation.
